MOSE Project‐One way coupling analysis
One-way coupling analysis using the MPS method and Code_Aster.
The gate stands up through buoyancy.
As the purpose of this is to confirm whether coupling analysis is possible, neither the structure nor the physical properties of the gate are correct.
Fluid-Structure Interaction Analysis by Particle Method and Code_Aster(Beam element)
MPS method uses a wall boundary model for thin walls.
Code_Aster uses a beam element (POU_D_T_GD).
3D dam break with an elastic gate by MPS-Code_Aster
Fluid-Structure Interaction Analysis by Particle Method and Code_Aster
3D dam break with an elastic wall by MPS-Code_Aster
Fluid-Structure Interaction Analysis by Particle Method and Code_Aster
Analysis of a gate-equipped dam breakage through analyzing a coupled MPS-FEM fluid-structure
A fluid coupled analysis using the particle method on the fluid side, and finite element method on the structural side. The particle method will utilize the MPS(Moving Particle semi-implicit) method, and the finite element method solver will utilize Code_Aster. The gate is made of rubber(hyperelastic) and is a nonlinear material. Recording the positions of the gate's free end, the time variations are compared with the test results. They correspond almost completely with the test results.
Interaction Simulation of Fluid-Structure by MPS Method and Finite Element Method(Code_Aster)
An analysis to evaluate the performance of the fluid-structure interaction analysis done by the particle method and FEM. The MPS method is used for the particle method. Code_Aster is used as a FEM solver. The overflow wall is assumed to be an elastic body.
